Florida Caves Madison Blue This was an interesting cave from the very beginning. The cave opening was described to me as a "rat hole" and it fully deserves that name - it is quite small. The cave past the opening was very photogenic, with tighter passages flowing into big room and back to tighter passages. The smaller passages did not leave much room for error in managing the camera. Shooting in Madison was a lot of work trying to manage the arms in some rather confined spaces and varying the power aperture combinations to accomodate the space. I loved the pools of air on the ceiling and interesting reflections that they produced. |
