St. Lawrence River

Rothesay

Depth 30 ft - about 200 yards swim from shore

Rothesay is a very nice early season dive when the river had just shed the ice and the beginning of the charter season is weeks away. It is shallow and access is relatively easy. Current and viz could be a little challenging. In her days afloat, Rothesay was a paddlewheeler. She is quite broken up but the bow and the stern are still there (although flattening up fast) and the mid-ship sports nice dual boilers and the remains of a paddlewheel.
