Lake Erie

George Finnie

G. Finnie was first discovered/opened for diving in 2000 - i was among the first few groups to dive it. That wreck was amazing - lots of artifacts, not quite sure what some of them were. The wheel was still there, lots of deadeyes, masts laying on the sides.

The depth is about 90ft, but in typical Lake Erie fashion, it is quite dark at that depth. Other hazards include famous fine Erie silt and zebra mussels
