Lake Huron, Tobermory

Niagara

Niagara was sunk intentionally in 1999. It landed upright and it is relatively shallow making it accessible to divers of all levels. With the depth of 97' at the bow and 87' at the stern, combined with the top of the wheelhouse at just 45', this is an ideal second dive post Arabia or Forest City. Because Niagara was sunk intentionally, there are access holes cut all over the place, making penetrations easy.

Highlights: Pilothouse with the wheel; name on the stern and bow; flag at the stern; nice air vents; lots of misc. machinery on the outside and of course the spacious engine room.

Hazards: Not too many
